A Pentecostal Lex Legendi For Fostering Polyphonic Perspectivalism in Pentecostal Tradition

Saya memulai tulisan ini dengan melakukan survei terhadap keunikan-keunikan kualitatif dari pembacaan Alkitab Pentakosta, yang secara bersama-sama berkontribusi kepada misi me-lokal-kan anugerah Pentakostalisme di seluruh dunia. Pada bagian kedua, saya kemudian menyarankan bahwa hal-hal yang merugikan keunikan-keunikan tersebut adalah beberapa postur mediatif kepada Alkitab yang bersifat Fundamentalistik-Injili. Di bagian ketiga, saya menjawab hal-hal yang merugikan itu dengan mengajukan sebuah lex legendi (aturan dalam membaca) Pentakostal, yang dibangun atas pemikiran Telford Work tentang "Trinitarian-Ontology of Scripture." Saya berargumentasi bahwa bibliologi Work menyediakan sebuah premis teologis yang kuat bagi dinamika Pentakostal dan pemahaman yang beragam tentang wahyu biblis, dan mendasarkan pluralisme teologis sebagai hal yang intrinsik dari tradisi Pentakostal. Hal selanjutnya yang dibangun atas bibliologi Work yang saya ajukan adalah sebuah bentuk lectio divina (pembacaan kudus) yang bersifat Pentakostal yang dibangun atas empat hal dari pengertian klasik/Abad Pertengahan atas Kitab Suci, sebagai sebuah pengertian konstruktivistik dari pengalaman-pengalaman Pentakosta (penebusan, pengudusan, dan baptisan). Saya menyimpulkan dengan menggarisbawahi bagaimana bentuk lectio divina Pentakostal ini dapat membantu identitas Pentakostal dan menggunakan hermeneutika teologis yang dapat memperkuat anugrah misional Pentakosta dan keragaman Pentakostalisme di seluruh dunia.
